What is Plan Management?

To allow providers to assist participants to manage their own funds they receive from the NDIS to use on services. Plan Managers are responsible for paying invoices from other providers once a service is completed. Being Plan Managed gives you the freedom to choose the providers you want, and we handle the administration side to it.

I have funding, now what are my options?

When you have an approved NDIS plan, you need to understand the different budgets and who can help you start using your plan, and how your plan is managed. You have 3 different options;

NDIA-Managed

With this option, your funds are managed by the NDIA. You are limited to only using NDIS-registered service providers.

Self-managed

If you are self-managed, you’re responsible for paying service providers, manually claiming reimbursements from the NDIS and maintain accurate records for at least 5 years.

Plan Managed

Having a Plan Manager (Plan Me) allows you to live your life while we take care of the important paperwork. As experts in finance, you will have your receipts and invoices taken care of. You will have access to both registered and non-registered service providers. You will be provided a budget, and we will assist you to manage your funds efficiently.

How do I become Plan Managed?

You will need “Improved Life choices” included in your NDIS plan. This covers all expenses and ensures you are not out of pocket! If you currently do not have this in your funding, contact your NDIA Planner or LAC and request a review of your NDIS plan to have Plan Management included. All changes made to your plan can take processing time, so please bare this in mind!

I have a Plan Manager, but want to change to Plan Me. What do I need to do?

You do not have to wait until your plan is expired or due for review, this can be done at any time. First contact your LAC or NDIA Planner and let them know of the change. Next let your existing Plan Manager know you would like to terminate their service via email or letter, and to reduce their funding to zero. Once this is done you can either fill out our registration form online, give us a call or send us an email and we will get you all set up!

What does Plan Me do for me?

At Plan Me we will help you to understand the types of supports you can purchase with your NDIS plan, manage your budgets, track and inform how much you spend, understand the prices you can pay for your supports and pay your invoices, keep track of your records, such as invoices and receipts, and provide financial reports to you.

Our services will be of no cost to you, we will manage your funds for all your service providers. All invoices will come to us, and we will organise the rest. Services do not have to be NDIS registered giving you the flexibility to choose who are comfortable with. We will lodge the claims into the NDIS portal and assist with your Budget for the allocated funds.

What do I do when I receive an invoice?

Once you have decided which providers you are happy with to help you achieve your goals.
A service agreement is filled out, we keep this for our records. Submit the service providers invoices to us via the following options.

* Send us the invoice directly
* Upload the invoice to the App
* Have your providers send the invoice to us

Can I be reimbursed for a service?

If you have paid for a service that you are entitled to within your plan, submit the invoice to us  accounts@plan-me.com.au and we will organise your reimbursement.

Do you liaise with service providers?

Yes, we can streamline the process and have the service provider send us invoices directly. They can also communicate directly to us any questions or concerns they have regarding funding. This will prevent unwanted stress to you, and we can sort it all out!
